Small games,
cut clean.
Made in Falmouth.
We build short, tactile mobile games for people with five minutes to spare. One studio, one game at a time, finished properly before the next one starts.

Sapphire Canvas is a single-developer label. Every build, icon, sound and store listing goes through the same pair of hands, which keeps the games small and keeps them honest.
How a game gets made here
Most of our ideas start as a single gesture — a drag, a stretch, a tap that feels good on a phone screen. If the gesture still feels good after a hundred repeats, it becomes a game. If it doesn't, it gets cut.
Find the gesture
Prototype the core motion first, with placeholder art and no menus. Rolling out dough with one finger was the whole of Slicecraft for the first two weeks.
Draw it warm
Flat vector art, hand-tuned palettes, no stock assets. The look is built to read at arm's length on a small screen in daylight.
Keep it offline
Games run entirely on the device. Nothing to sign into, nothing to load, nothing collected. Progress lives in local storage and leaves with the app.

A pizza is four gestures: roll, sauce, top, bake. Here is the real thing, running in your browser — stretch the dough with a drag, spread the sauce, place the order, then send it to the oven.
Order counter
Drag on the dough. Every step scores separately, exactly like the game.
Drag outwards from the middle to stretch the dough into a circle.

What's in the full game
Slicecraft is a hands-on pizza-making game where you build every pie from scratch, step by satisfying step. Roll the dough until it's perfectly round, spread the sauce, place the toppings where they belong, slide it into the oven, then serve it and start the next order.
Customers arrive with their own orders, and the closer your pizza matches what they asked for, the better the reward. Coins unlock new toppings, sauces and recipes, and the orders get trickier as you go. Everything runs on your device: no account, no connection, no ads. Just roll, top, bake and serve.
